We work together to promote remote cross-access between
countries to secured data. Our collaboration is regulated
by a Collaboration Understanding ( – view pdf) and bilateral or
multilateral contracts.
We compare and provide harmonized information on partner’s frameworks for secured data, mainly on accreditation procedures ( – view pdf), on partner’s requirements for security rules ( – view pdf) and on sanctions in case of confidentiality breaches ( – view pdf ). We aim thus to facilitate the use of data from multiple countries.
We have agreed on common security rules ( – view pdf). So that our IDAN safe rooms can host all partners’ access points allowing the researchers to work with data from several/partners/countries from one physical place in their country while respecting all of partner’s requirements for security rules ( – view pdf).
This section provides information on access points open in each IDAN safe room. Look on the map, to see partner’s catalogs and authorization procedures. Once you are accredited, you can book your place in your local IDAN facilities to access the data
Once you get authorized, contact the partner’s IDAN safe room to access the data and make reservations

We work together and with researchers to provide
more information on the potential on IDAN partners’ rich data catalogues
for comparative research and funding opportunities.
